5005 marine grade aluminum plate sheet
Our company's marine grade aluminium 5005 plate has good solubility and processing properties, medium strength and good corrosion resistance. The 5005 aluminum plate is similar in strength to the 3003 aluminum plate, but the anodized film is brighter than the oxide film on the 3003 aluminum alloy and is consistent with the tone of the 6061 marine grade aluminum alloy.

Almost all aluminum and aluminum alloy varieties are used on ships. Currently used most is the 5XXX series. Marine grade aluminium 5005 is one of them. The aluminum varieties are: aluminum thick plate, aluminum plate, aluminum sheet, aluminum strip, aluminum foil, aluminum tube and so on.

Marine grade aluminium 5005 is widely used in ship shells. The form of the hull structure can be divided into three types: horizontal skeleton type, vertical skeleton type and mixed skeleton type. Aluminum alloy small fishing boats, the main end structure of large ships is usually horizontal skeleton structure. The aluminum alloy materials used on the hull are mainly plates, profiles and wide-width extruded slabs.

For example, a tanker with a length of 60.8m and capable of carrying 1160t of oil is used as follows: The ship uses 9mm thick corrugated plates to longitudinally seal the bulkheads and 7mm thick aluminum plates as transverse bulkheads to form five independent warehouses. The ship's side is made of 9mm thick aluminum plate. The deck is 12mm thick and the cover is made of 15mm thick aluminum. The hull frame is composed of extruded profiles, the tailings are cast with AL12%Si alloy, and the tanker shares aluminum 92t.

In the past few years, Japan has newly developed an aluminum alloy hull semi-casting ship. The bow of the ship, the stern and the hull are welded with plates of about 5.4 m in length. The ship is 2.4m wide and 0.58m deep. The hull weighs about 2t and the total weight is 3.8t. Compared with the same type of FRP ship, the hull is reduced by 25%-30%.
