The marine grade 5083 aluminium sheet is one of the most widely used marine grade aluminum plate and is mainly used for hull construction. The following describes the processing of the aluminum hull.
 
Aluminum hull processing refers to the process of making aluminum material (for example:marine grade 5083 aluminium plate) by manual or mechanical hull parts that meet the requirements of drawings and processes. In order to enable the ship to withstand the impact and effects of various external forces on the hull under severe weather conditions, the ship must be designed and constructed in accordance with the specifications and technical requirements, and must be inspected by the classification society or the designated surveyor before it can be put into operation. As a ship builder, you should be familiar with the basic knowledge of shipbuilding and structure.

 
The structure of the hull determines the strength of the hull, and the strength also determines the carrying capacity of the ship. Typically, different strength hull structures are designed for different carrying needs. During the design process, the hull structure should have good continuity to achieve the required strength.
 
The process of aluminum hull manufacturing is generally: aluminum material cutting (cutting and welding groove)--machining--slab welding processing--forming--small closing (T-shaped row welding, plane frame welding)--zhonghe (Segmented welding) - large closing (ship welding) - launching.

 
1. Aluminum material cutting: Aluminum material cutting is a sketch or software program, and aluminum sheets (for example: marine grade 5083 aluminium sheet) and aluminum profiles are cut and machined into parts. Large-scale shipyard cutting mostly uses numerical control and mechanized (semi-automatic) cutting machines, the cutting is rough, and the welding groove can be cut at the same time as required. The groove should be cut as much as possible in the cutting, so as to improve the efficiency and ensure the accuracy of the groove.
 
2. Puzzle: There are three kinds of welding methods commonly used in large shipyards: gantry submerged arc welding, three wire submerged arc welding and tire frame welding.
 
The aluminum hull assembly is divided into hull structure pre-assembly welding and ship platform welding. The hull structure pre-assembly welding is divided into three parts: component welding, segment welding and total assembly welding.

The main equipment used for pre-loading of aluminum hull structures is lifting, welding, gas cutting and compressed air equipment, as well as pipes, platforms and tire frames. Among them, the platform and the tire frame test the main process equipment.
